The Labour Ministry will transfer the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana to the Health Ministry from April 1, Parliament was informed today. “The government has decided to transfer RSBY from Ministry of Labour and Employment to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from April 1, 2015 pursuant to the government decision make it a part of the National Health Assurance Mission to be implemented by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,” Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
